This is the first selfie I have taken in 3 months.

This is the first selfie I have taken in 3 months. Now that may sound unexciting or even mundane but for me its not a vanity thing it was a medical thing.
In September I chose to get elective PRK surgery on my eyes to correct my vision and while the normal recovery time is around a week or two, mine has been over 3 months.
I have barely been able to look up ( due to light sensitivity) and or see like I used to before surgery.
I only could just start driving again last week.
I know my recovery was not the norm, sometimes when you are going through it though it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I however know my God will never fail me and he will persist and until the work is done.
So tonight I got to get myself ready and drive myself to church for Christmas Eve Service and raise my voice to praise the God who heals and gives light in times of darkness!
