I know all the estheticians out there will be yelling at me, but my skincare routine changes quite a bit. There are a few staples that I do consistently keep around but I am constantly trying out new serums, moisturizers and eye creams.
Fair warning this may be a post that will have to be updated again and again over time, but for now this is what it is.
First things first, I usually wash my face in the shower after my workout. I use this SheaMoisture African Black Soap. I keep the bar in the shower for easy use. The charcoal clarifies and cleanses oily skin, and it also has a gentle exfoliating property that feels amazing after a sweaty workout.

Fresh out of the shower I use the Clean Skin Club Vitamin C Brightening Booster. I received this in one of my Boxycharm deliveries, and I’m all for brightening up my skin. A little goes a long way and it quickly absorbs into the skin which helps with product layering.

Next I apply a product that I am trying out from It Works! It’s developed by Dr. Nassif, yes that Dr. Nassif, Botched TV Star and Beverly Hills plastic surgeon. Its a Neck Firming Treatment. I’m only through my first jar so I will need to continue to use it to really get a good gage on if it is working or not, so stay tuned!

Next up I apply the Olehenriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme. This particular formula is supposed to brighten, and anti-age the under-eye area. I am constantly trying to fix the dark circles under my eyes and while this isn’t completely fixing the issue I do feel like it’s helping.

Lastly I apply a chapstick. I have been using Nivea and I really do like it. It is unscented and leaves my lips very well moisturized until I’m ready to apply lipstick.
I am always on the hunt for the next best skincare product so if you have any recommendations feel free to leave it in the comment section below and I will do a review on it at a later date.
