What I Wore Weekly #1

What I Wore Weekly #1

Hey guys, so I decided to switch things up a bit and instead of just a regular old boring weekly recap I thought I would incorporate my week with an OOTD twist.

I know I love scrolling through countless posts of outfits and how to style them and so I figured it would be fun to document my own!  Plus it helps when I look at my closet to have pictures of how I styled pieces before in order to avoid a rut, and or if I need a quick outfit stat!

As with my weekly recaps I will be posting this on Tuesdays.  So you will get the pervious Tuesday – Monday.

Tuesday was a pretty low-key day.  My one errand that I had on the books was graciously fulfilled by my husband. Major wins by him cause it gave me the opportunity to have a relaxing 3 cup of coffee morning before I hit the Peloton and then the shower.  This was also the magical day that I was condemned to wear my glasses for 3 weeks in order to be ready for my Lasik appointment on the 16th of September.  Warning the makeup may look quite similar for the next bit because of this new mandated accessory.

Wednesday I had a Chiropractor appointment in the morning so I had to put my workout off til the afternoon.  Which meant I got a late start on getting ready for the day.  As it was also date night I opted for a dressier look while still trying to remain casual.  We went to our favorite little French restaurant, Fleur De Sel, where we enjoyed a bottle of French Red wine and some amazing food.  It was a perfectly magical evening.

Ahh Thursday, my least favorite day of the week.  Just one more day in between me and my weekend.  Xander and I had some school supply shopping to get done and then we met Jason for an impromptu lunch date at Bardenay’s.  Later in the afternoon we had to take a quick little day trip down to Harrison ID to look at a 4-wheeler for our ski cabin up the mountain.  It turned out to be a perfect fit, so we loaded it up and headed back home.  Thank goodness I had dressed more casually, but even still the man selling the ATV looked at me as if I was a bit over dressed.

It’s the freaking weekend!   Friday was pretty chill, Xander had a meet up down at the beach for a friends birthday and then Jason’s father and brother came down to start installing our outdoor kitchen set up (post on that later).  Later that evening we headed over to our friends place to indulge in some Mexican food and good times.  Spending time with our friend group on the weekends is something we look forward to all week.

Saturday Morning for me was pretty lazy, Jason was up and at it and went to play golf.  He got in a full 18 holes and I made it through the first season of Gossip Girl, to each their own.  Xander got invited to a friends house to spend the night so we were gifted with a night to ourselves.  It was the perfect weather out for late summer here in CDA, and with the looming fear of winter we decided to soak it up while we could.  We took the motorcycle out for a ride along the lake and then ended up at the boardwalk for some evening cocktails and live music.  After that we bought groceries to make a romantic steak dinner at home.  The night was a perfect serendipitous evening.

Jason had to serve at church on Sunday and then after that we took off to Kellogg, to play golf up at Galena Ridge.  After that we headed home to start cooking dinner for us and our good friends the Crossley’s.  We ended up staying up til 1am chatting, laughing and drinking red wine.  It was the perfect end to the weekend.

And finally we arrive at Monday another week down and a fresh shiny new one to attack.  Xander had another Physical Therapy appointment and then I had to run down to my spray tan appointment.  Somehow getting a fresh tan on makes a case of the Mondays not so bad. Jason is on a golf kick and wanted to play all week in celebration of his birthday this upcoming Thursday, so we played a round of 9 out at the country club, after a relaxing dinner at The Porch, one of our fav restaurants in the neighborhood.  I had a total of 3 outfit changes this day and silly me forgot to take a pic of any of them.

Overall a great week that seemed to fly by as they all seem to do now.

Until next week!
